Hey there! My name is Maddie, and welcome to Lil Buns Rabbitry! I'm so happy you're here! I created this website to share my rabbits, showcase the breeds I raise, and connect my bunnies with wonderful families looking to welcome a new furry friend into their homes.
Whether you're looking for a loving companion, a new addition to your rabbitry, or a potential show rabbit, I hope you find the perfect bunny here!
About My Rabbitry
I take great pride in raising my rabbits and providing them with the care, attention, and living conditions they deserve. My goal is not simply to raise and sell rabbits, but to ensure that every bunny I place finds a safe, loving, and responsible home where they can thrive.
I put a lot of time and dedication into my rabbitry, from maintaining clean and appropriate living spaces to monitoring their health, development, personalities, and overall well-being. Each rabbit is important to me, and I want every one of them to have the opportunity to live a happy and comfortable life.
I also believe in being honest and transparent with potential buyers. I do my best to provide accurate information about each rabbit, including its breed, background, pedigree status, age, gender (when accurately determined), and any other important details. I am always happy to answer questions and help prospective owners determine which rabbit would be the best fit for them.
Breeds Available at Lil Buns Rabbitry
Here is a list of the breeds and varieties I currently raise:
American Chinchillas – Pedigreed
Holland Lops – Pedigreed and Non-Pedigreed
American Fuzzy Lops – Non-Pedigreed
Rex Mixes – Non-Pedigreed
I enjoy working with different breeds and learning more about their individual characteristics, standards, and qualities. I especially take pride in my American Chinchilla rabbits, as they are a rare and historically significant breed that deserves continued preservation and appreciation.
Availability changes throughout the year as new litters arrive and rabbits find their homes, so be sure to check back for updates!
Finding the Right Home
My ultimate goal is to find each rabbit a loving, responsible, and permanent home. Bringing a rabbit home is a commitment, and I want to make sure prospective owners understand the care and responsibilities that come with owning one.
Rabbits require appropriate housing, a proper diet, fresh hay, clean water, regular cleaning, enrichment, daily attention, and access to appropriate veterinary care. I encourage anyone interested in adopting to do their research beforehand and make sure they are prepared to provide everything their new bunny needs.
Whether you're a first-time rabbit owner or an experienced rabbit enthusiast, I'm happy to answer questions, provide information, and help make the transition into your home as smooth as possible.
I also love keeping in touch with people who adopt from me! Seeing my rabbits grow up and knowing they're being loved and cared for is one of the most rewarding parts of having a rabbitry.
Thank You for Supporting Lil Buns Rabbitry!

Thank you for supporting Lil Buns Rabbitry!
Ever since I was a little girl, I've always had a love for animals, especially rabbits. I remember always wanting a bunny of my own and dreaming about having rabbits to care for, love, and spend my time with. What started as a childhood dream eventually grew into something much bigger than I ever imagined.
When I was just six years old, I finally got my first rabbit. Around that same time, my next-door neighbor had several rabbits that had gotten loose. One day, I came across a little rabbit and managed to catch her. Instead of letting her go, I took her in and gave her a safe, loving home. She became incredibly special to me, and having her made my love for rabbits grow even stronger.
Unfortunately, as life sometimes does, things got difficult. Due to circumstances at the time, I eventually had to find her another home. Although it was hard to let her go, my love for animals never went away. If anything, that experience made me realize just how much animals meant to me and how much I wanted them to be a part of my future.
As I got older, I found more opportunities to explore that passion. Through school, I became more involved in learning about animals, animal care, and agriculture. I developed an interest in FFA, where I had the opportunity to expand my knowledge and experience working with animals. I also began working with animals outside of school, including opportunities at animal sanctuaries. Being able to work hands-on with different species, learn about their behaviors, understand their needs, and help care for animals made me realize I truly loved it.
Eventually, rabbits found their way back into my life. I got another bunny, and before I knew it, one rabbit turned into several. My interest quickly grew beyond simply owning rabbits. I became fascinated with the different breeds, their characteristics, genetics, colors, coat types, body structures, and breed standards. I wanted to learn as much as I possibly could.
That curiosity eventually led me into rabbit breeding. What started as simply wanting to have rabbits of my own turned into a passion for raising both pet-quality and show-quality rabbits. I began learning more about pedigrees, bloodlines, breeding goals, confirmation, coat quality, and the importance of understanding each breed. I developed a particular appreciation for preserving and improving breeds while maintaining healthy, well-cared-for rabbits.
Today, what once started as a little girl's dream has grown into Lil Buns Rabbitry. I now dedicate my time to raising rabbits, learning about different breeds, working toward my breeding goals, and finding wonderful homes for the rabbits I raise. I love every part of it, from watching newborn kits grow and develop their personalities to learning about genetics, working with pedigreed bloodlines, preparing rabbits for shows, and seeing them leave for their new homes.
One of the most rewarding parts is knowing that I get to share the same love for rabbits that started when I was just a little girl. Every rabbit has its own personality, characteristics, and place in my heart. Whether a rabbit is being raised as a companion, a pet, or a potential show rabbit, I believe each one deserves proper care, attention, and the opportunity to thrive.
I am constantly learning, growing, and finding new ways to improve my knowledge and my rabbitry. I know I still have so much to learn, but that is one of the things I love most about working with animals. There is always something new to discover, and there is always room to grow.
Looking back, I never would have imagined that the little girl who dreamed of having rabbits would one day have a rabbitry of her own. What started with one little bunny eventually became a huge part of my life and something I genuinely look forward to every day.
Lil Buns Rabbitry isn't just something I do; it's grown from a childhood dream into a passion. And I couldn't be happier to share that passion with all of you.

ABOUT ME
Hi! My name is Maddie, I'm 18 years old, and I'm the person behind Lil Buns Rabbitry! Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them has been something I've been passionate about for as long as I can remember.
I graduated high school early in December 2025, and I'm currently attending Gateway Technical College, where I'm working through my prerequisite courses with the goal of eventually earning a degree in Animal Science. Education is important to me because I want to continue expanding my knowledge of animal behavior, health, nutrition, husbandry, and proper animal care.
My long-term dream is to work at an animal sanctuary, where I can dedicate my time to caring for animals, helping those in need, and making a positive difference in their lives. I love learning about different species, understanding their individual needs, and getting hands-on experience working with animals.
Outside of school, a big part of my life revolves around my rabbitry. I enjoy raising rabbits, learning about different breeds, working with pedigrees and bloodlines, and developing my knowledge of breeding and show standards. I also enjoy the responsibility that comes with caring for animals and making sure they receive the attention and proper living conditions they deserve.
I know I have a lot more to learn, and I'm excited to see where my education and experiences take me. Whether it's through college, working with animals, volunteering, or continuing to grow Lil Buns Rabbitry, I hope to spend my future doing what I love most: caring for animals.
My goal has always been to turn my love for animals into something meaningful, and I'm excited to see what the future holds!
